Settings & parameters
- Version: V8.2 (default; add
--v 8.2to pin it) --rawremoves Midjourney's default styling so lighting words do the work--s 80keeps stylize low for a literal, commercial look (range 0–1000, default 100)--hdrenders at 2048px; use--sdwhile exploring, then "Run as HD"--ar 4:5suits Instagram and product pages; use--ar 16:9for web banners
Variations
- Swap the surface for "brushed aluminium sheet with fine scratches" for a tech product.
- Add
--no text, logoif the model invents a label you don't want. - Add
--sref [your brand moodboard image URL] --sw 150to lock a house style across a catalog. - Change the light to "overcast top light, no shadows" for marketplace-style clean shots.
Tips
- V8.2 reads long prompts well: name each light source and where it hits rather than saying "beautiful lighting".
- Keep
--seed [number]fixed while you tweak one phrase at a time so you can see what changed. - If the product shape drifts, generate the set here and composite your real product in an editor, or use the Edit model with a photo of the real product.
