The short version: everything here is free, use it however you like, but check it before you rely on it.

Licensing

• RuleStack originals (rules and prompts we wrote) are released under the MIT License.
• Community items are imported only from openly licensed collections (CC0 1.0, MIT, Apache 2.0 or CC BY 4.0). Every page credits the contributor and source and carries the notice its license requires; all notices are on our licenses page.
• Third-party links, including the libraries on our Resources page, belong to their owners and are covered by their own terms, not ours.

Provided as is

All rules, prompts and other content are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or that they will work with any given tool or model version.

Review before use

Read, test and verify everything before you use it, especially code, scripts or commands an AI agent generates from these rules and prompts. Run them in a safe environment first and don't run anything you don't understand.

Limitation of liability

RuleStack is not responsible or liable for how rules or prompts are used, or for any outputs, results, losses or damages that come from using them. You're responsible for how you use this content and what you do with the results.

No affiliation

RuleStack is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Cursor, Anthropic, OpenAI, GitHub, Microsoft, Google, Windsurf or any other tool vendor. Product names and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.
