Inpaint a region locally (ComfyUI)

A local inpainting workflow with mask, denoise and prompt guidance for private image edits.

Positive (masked area only): [what should appear, e.g. a vase of white tulips on the table, matching the room's soft window light]
Negative: blurry edges, mismatched lighting, seams

Replace everything in [square brackets] with your own details.

Settings & parameters

• ComfyUI: Load image → draw mask → VAE Encode (for inpainting) → KSampler
• Denoise 0.6–0.85 (lower keeps more of the original), steps ~30, CFG ~4
• Grow the mask by 8–16 px and feather for seamless edges

Variations

• Outpaint: pad the canvas and describe the extension.
• Low denoise (0.3) to subtly fix texture without changing content.

Tips

• Local runs keep private images on your machine.
