Settings & parameters

• aspectRatio: 16:9 or 9:16; resolution: 720p, 1080p or 4K; durations 4, 6 or 8 s (1080p, 4K, references and extension need 8 s)

• Gemini app / Flow: paste the prompt and pick Veo 3.1

Variations

• Vertical 9:16 for Shorts with the subject centered.
• Swap the light to "harsh noon sun, high contrast".
• Use the last frame as a first frame for a continuation shot.

Tips

• One moment per clip. Long sequences of actions get compressed or skipped.
• Put audio in its own sentences so Veo treats it as sound, not visuals.
