description: Research the codebase and write an implementation plan for a feature
agent: plan
argument-hint: feature description
---
Create an implementation plan for: ${input:feature:Describe the feature or change}
Do not write or edit code in this step.
1. Restate the goal and acceptance criteria in a few bullets. List open questions first if requirements are ambiguous.
2. Research: find the relevant modules, similar existing features to copy patterns from, data models, and tests. Cite the files.
3. Plan:
- **Approach** in a paragraph, plus one alternative and why you didn't choose it.
- **Steps**, numbered, each small enough for one commit, naming files to create/change.
- **Data changes:** schema/migrations, backfills, config or env vars.
- **Tests** to add per step (unit, integration, e2e).
- **Risks:** breaking changes, performance, security, rollout (feature flag?).
- **Done when:** the commands that must pass and what to check manually.
4. Estimate size (S/M/L) and flag anything that should be a separate PR.
Save nothing; output the plan in chat for my review.
